    • Handling food for service users

    • Unwrapping packaged items

    • Assisting with cutting or serving food

    It focuses on practical hygiene awareness to help prevent contamination and promote safe food handling in everyday support settings.

    This course is not a substitute for formal food hygiene qualifications. Employees whose roles require deeper knowledge, or training certification - such as those preparing or serving food in kitchen environments - should speak to their line manager about enrolling in additional training, such as the REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene course.
