Introduction

This training session is to support Children’s Social Work Services become distributors of the lifesaving Overdose antidote, Naloxone. The distribution of Naloxone to vulnerable families in need, is now part of our Child Protection processes and this training will equip you to be able to support those in need, by providing the necessary key information and making supplies to those in need.

All frontline Children’s Social Work staff.

Objective

To know the key facts about the role of Naloxone in relation to Opioid Overdose, so that you are able to share this key information with those in need so that you can provide Naloxone to them.
